Introduction Ceremony Held for the New Representative of the Supreme Leader in India

In a grand and dignified ceremony held at the Cultural House of the Islamic Republic of Iran in New Delhi heartfelt appreciation was extended for the fifteen years of sincere and outstanding service rendered by Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Hajj Mehdi Mahdavi-Pour the former Representative of the Supreme Leader in India.

During this special event, Dr. Iraj Elahi, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to New Delhi, honored Hujjat al-Islam Mahdavi-Pour for his dedicated service and warmly welcomed the new representative, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Dr. Abdolmajid Hakim-Elahi.

The guest of honor, Ayatollah Mohsen Qomi, Deputy for International Affairs at the Office of the Supreme Leader, also delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of religious education aligned with contemporary needs. He praised the scholarly, cultural, and social contributions of Mr. Mahdavi-Pour, describing them as a valuable asset to the Islamic community.

The ceremony was attended by prominent figures from the academic, cultural, religious, and social spheres across India.
In his farewell remarks, Hujjat al-Islam Mahdavi-Pour expressed his gratitude for the support and cooperation of the people and community leaders throughout his tenure. He also extended his best wishes and a warm welcome to the newly appointed representative of the Supreme Leader, Hujjat al-Islam Hakim-Elahi.
