Indian Foreign Minister Subramaniam Jaishenkar, in a message on X congratulated the appointment of Mr. Abbas Araghchi as the new Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Mr. Jaishenkar said in his message: "Congratulate Seyed Abbas Aragchi on your appointment as Foreign Minister of Iran.  Look forward to working with you to further India and Iran relations".
